For 2022, we’re giving festival goers the opportunity to help choose where proceeds are donated. When purchasing tickets, they will have the opportunity to choose one or more charities where a percentage of their ticket fee will be donated. Ticket buyers will have the option to choose the charities during the checkout process.

We are donating proceeds from the festival to up to 20 different charities. Our goal is to support a wide variety of causes that are dear and have meaning to YOU and give benefit to the Charlotte community as a whole. To do this, we’re taking suggestions/applications for local charities to support. Each charity we select will be added to the ticket where ticket buyers will be able to choose which (or all) of the tickets they want the proceeds of their ticket to be donated. Charlotte Oktoberfest will donate a percentage of the festival proceeds to each charity as designated by all ticket buyers. Our intent is to give needed monies and exposure to some worthwhile causes.
Additionally, charities can earn funds for their charities (even if not selected for direct contributions) by providing volunteers for the festival. For details, please e-mail: info@oktoberfestcharlotte.com.
