About Festival Proceeds

The Carolina BrewMasters have always been dedicated to helping our local community. The Charlotte Oktoberfest provides a great opportunity to make an impact.

After 18 years of hosting our festival, the Carolina BrewMasters have donated over $600,000 to local charities, and look forward to continuing to donate to more local causes each consecutive year. This year we have partnered with the Bravo Alpha Foundation to run the event.

Partnered with the North Carolina Brewers Guild

North Carolina Brewers Guild logo

The NCBG was formed following the ‘Pop the Cap‘ initiative which did away with the 6% alcohol cap on beers in North Carolina. Its main objective is to promote NC beer — local, fresh, craft beer. We want to support the beer communities in the state and guide the craft beer aficionados by providing the one source that allows access to the breweries, brewers and their beers whereever they are served, presented, and celebrated.

Lagunitas Brewing was our returning title sponsor.... more

2014

Uphonic and Stella Rising (both prior attendees) rocked the main stage with awesome music. Lagunitas Brewing was our title sponsor. For the very first time,... more
